Purpose: The Comprehensive Domain Review (CDR) is designed to facilitate review and preview of each of the domains of the state standards. The booklet is organized in a linear fashion to allow focused practice for each domain covered. These books are typically used as HomePrep℠ which are organized with multiple domains/standards on each page of the booklet.
Purpose: The highly popular Quik-Piks series offer a "quik" way to "pik" a variety of math problems designed to preview, review and reinforce the math concepts and skills of the state standards. Each page of the booklets are multi-domained and include a variety of ways to answer problems (e.g. multiple choice, multi-select, open response, table, etc). Each booklet also includes Performance Tasks problems to practice and strengthen reasoning skills. These booklets can be used daily as part of the ACALETICS Math Club℠, class work and/or HomePrep℠ (homework).
Purpose: The Comprehensive Pre-Post Assessment is designed to check student progress towards mastery of the state standards and to facilitate projections of student performance. The Assessment supports educators to identify both the MPIC and MPIC+ scores for each assessment item. The MPIC and MPIC+ metrics will help an educator determine the most common misconception, across various groupings of students, on an item-by-item basis. By using the MPIC and MPIC+ metrics, educators have the opportunity to craft more informed and targeted instructional strategies specific to students' needs. Results are used to confirm student mastery of essential concepts and skills and to drive Problem Attack Strategy Sessions (P.A.S.S.).
Purpose: The Comprehensive Mid-Term Assessment, a shorter version of the Comprehensive Pre-Post Assessment, is designed to check student progress towards mastery of the state standards and to facilitate projections of student performance. It can also be used as an ongoing supplemental tool to inform and guide instruction based on an item analysis which identifies the most commonly missed problems and the most commonly picked incorrect responses. Results will also confirm student mastery of essential concepts and skills. This assessment complements the Comprehensive Pre-Post by providing teachers a mid-year opportunity to assess and identify concepts and skills that continue to challenge students with the aid of the item analysis.
Purpose: The Placement Assessment is designed to aid teachers and/or school administrators in identifying students level of readiness to apply previously learned skills to the next level of standards.
